Read on to find out more.
What Are Pregnancy Gummies?
Our Pregnancy Gummies are a delicious blend of essential nutrients, designed to support you both whilst you conceive and during your pregnancy.* These gummies contain 100% of your recommended daily intake of folic acid and vitamin D, as well as vitamin B, biotin and zinc. Plus, these tasty supplements are vegan-friendly and contain real fruit, making them the perfect addition to your daily routine.
Important Pregnancy Nutrients
Folic Acid
Folic acid is an essential vitamin which plays an important part in foetal development and can reduce the chances of developing neural tube defects (NTDs.) (1,2) The NHS recommends daily supplementation of 400 micrograms of folic acid both whilst you’re trying to conceive and in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Our Pregnancy Gummies contain the recommended daily amount of this important nutrient.
Vitamin D
Vitamin D regulates calcium levels within the body, (3) promotes healthy bones (4) and maintains immune function. (5) We can make vitamin D naturally from sunlight, which means deficiency is more common in the winter months. The NHS recommends supplementation of 10 micrograms of vitamin D each day between October and March- we've added this to each serving of our gummies.
Vitamin C
It’s normal to feel fatigued during pregnancy, especially in the first 12 weeks. We've added vitamin C to our Pregnancy Gummies to help fight feelings of tiredness (6) and support cognitive health, (7) so you can focus on your goals all day long. Vitamin C is also important for cell function (8) and skin health. (9) - This combined with the biotin in our gummies is the perfect way to support your complexion from within. 10
